VERSE 1
PRE-CHORUS
CHORUS
VERSE 2
CHORUS
OUTRO
✏️ 我願意再相信自己,____________。

Part IV|English Companion
Gentle Reading — Living as Light
Sometimes, what truly makes us pause isn't the difficulty right in front of us.
It may simply be a voice within the heart — small, but one that keeps coming back:
"Can I really do this?"
Perhaps a past failure caused you to start doubting your own ability. Perhaps it was just an offhand remark from someone else, one that has lingered in your heart for a long time.
Slowly, we may turn a single misstep into "I'm not good enough," and a single moment of fear into "I have no courage."
But doubt appearing does not mean you truly cannot do it.
Fear does not mean you have to stay where you are.
Sometimes, we simply need a little time to look again at the road we have already walked — the things we once didn't dare to do, yet still completed; the moments when, after falling, we were still willing to try again; the days no one else saw, yet we walked through them ourselves, step by step.
Strength doesn't have to be an intense feeling.
It can simply be this:
Today, I am still willing to take one more step forward.
If there's a little hesitation in your heart right now, you don't need to rush to chase it away.
Listen to it first.
Then, ask yourself once more:
Even with a little fear still there, am I willing to believe in myself one more time?

Verse 1
Some voices hide within the heart
endlessly saying I'm still not good enough
Old shame has piled up like ash on my chest
Old doubt has kept my footsteps frozen in place
Pre-Chorus
This time
I close my eyes, and run no more
Let the fire deep in my heart slowly grow bright
Today, I am willing
to give doubt and shame both to the flame
Let every breath burn a brand-new me into being
Chorus
Let the fire within burn fiercely
burning away doubt, burning away self-denial
Leaving behind the purest confidence, holding up my courage
Let the fire within quietly temper me
refining all shame into a peaceful heart
When every impurity has burned away
I finally understand
true strength lives in my own actions
Verse 2
No longer looking back at old wounds
carrying light, walking toward the future I want
Even if my steps still hold a little hesitation
the fire in my heart lights the direction I'm moving toward
This time, I will burn for myself
drawing out a new courage
Let every step press down real strength
living as the very light I've always believed in
Chorus (repeat)
Outro
Today, I no longer hide
carrying pure courage, walking forward
Every step is proof of strength
Living as the light I believe in
Gentle Writing
Is there a sentence you often say to yourself in daily life — one that has slowly limited your steps?
Perhaps it's:
"I'm still not good enough."
"What if I fail?"
"Someone else must be more suited for this than I am."
First, write that sentence down.
You don't need to argue with it right away, and you don't need to tell yourself, "I'm not allowed to think this way." Just look at it, then ask yourself:
Does this sentence really represent who I am right now?
Next, recall something you once weren't sure you could do, but ended up completing anyway. It doesn't have to be something big or important. It might simply be the first time you handled a problem on your own, finished a task, spoke up about what you truly thought, or still took good care of yourself even when you were exhausted.
Write that down too.
Finally, give today's version of yourself a new sentence. For example:
"I'm not completely unafraid yet, but I'm willing to try one more time."
It doesn't need to be beautifully written.
It just needs to be true.
✏️ I am willing to believe in myself again, ______.
Today's Gentle Question
Is there something recently that you've actually wanted to start, but just haven't taken the first step toward yet?
Today, you don't need to finish it.
Can you take just the first small action?
Continued Companionship
Thank you for reading this issue of Song of Little You.
Perhaps, even after finishing this issue, the doubt in your heart hasn't completely disappeared.
That's all right.
We don't need to wait until we're completely unafraid before we can begin moving forward.
Sometimes, strength isn't about suddenly becoming fearless — it's about being willing, even while hesitation remains, to try once more, take one more step, and believe in yourself just a little more.
If today's reading, song, or writing brought to mind something you once worked hard to accomplish, that memory may be reminding you: you are stronger than you think you are.
May "Living as Light" accompany you — so that even when you doubt yourself, you can still see the light within your heart that has never gone out, and be willing to take one small, real action toward the direction you believe in.
We look forward to reading life together with you again in the next issue.
