VERSE 1
CHORUS
VERSE 2
CHORUS
BRIDGE
FINAL CHORUS
OUTRO

Part IV|English Companion
Gentle Reading — After the Mist Clears
Sometimes what we see is not the event itself, but an answer that already lives in the heart. An unanswered message becomes “they don't care”; one mistake becomes “I'm not good enough.” These thoughts may once have protected us, yet a thought is our interpretation of an event, not necessarily the truth of it—like a mirror clouded with mist, where a blurred reflection can be mistaken for our whole self. We don't need to blame the mist or push it away. We can simply pause, breathe, and ask: is this a fact, or an assumption? When we look this way, the road ahead was there all along.
Song: After the Mist Clears
A gentle song about seeing our thoughts as passing mist, loosening the walls we have drawn for ourselves, and returning to the wide space of the present moment.

Gentle Writing
Think of a recent moment that left you uneasy, disappointed, or self-critical. First, write down only what you actually saw or heard. Then write the thoughts that arose, and ask yourself which ones may be assumptions, worries, or echoes of the past. Finally, write one broader sentence that leaves a little room for another possibility.
Today's Gentle Question
Lately, is there a belief you have held onto that might simply be a passing mist rising in your heart?
Continued Companionship
Thank you for reading this issue of Song of Little You.
In life, some mist comes from the situation itself, and some comes from the assumptions, worries, and voices from the past that live within us.
When we cannot see clearly, there is no need to rush to blame ourselves, nor to force ourselves to find an answer right away. Being willing to pause and notice what we are thinking in this moment is already a gentle step closer.
Those judgments and limits may once have protected us in their own way. Seeing them is not about denying our past selves, but about being able to choose again how we want to understand the life in front of us.
If today's reading, song, or writing has made you question a familiar thought, it does not mean you have lost your way. Perhaps the mist in your heart is simply beginning to loosen, letting the scenery that was hidden slowly appear.
May you not have to fight your own thoughts, nor be carried away by every one of them. May you, in each breath that brings you back to this moment, see yourself and the world more clearly.
The mist may not clear all at once, but every moment of awareness can leave a little light in the heart, and open a little more spaciousness in life.
We look forward to reading life together with you again in the next issue.
